You will need a large glass Mason Jar or large gallon glass jar to place these ingredients in.
*Check at your local grocery store’s deli counter. Sometimes they have large empty pickle jars that they’re happy to give away or charge a small amount for.
*Wear food grade kitchen gloves to protect your skin when working with hot peppers.
Grind all of these veggies up in a food processor and place into a large glass jar. The jar should be about ½ to ¾ full with raw veggie/ herb pulp. Fill and top with Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar. Shake or stir and close lid. Store in a dark cupboard for 2 weeks or more if desired. Try to shake or stir this mixture daily if you can. After 2 weeks, strain the solids – I use a cheesecloth in a strainer to make sure I get all the liquid out. You should wear kitchen gloves to protect your skin from the hot peppers! Take the strained liquid and bottle in tightly capped glass containers or bottles. Keep out of the sun.
*Traditionally this formula was made on a New Moon and harvested on Full Moon, 2 weeks later. Preparing herbal formulas on New Moon is a sign for new beginnings and it is also when the moon’s gravitational pull helps to extract powerful healing elements from the herbal ingredients.
Dosage: Take 2 TBSP daily - you can place it in water and drink it or put it over food that needs some spice. If you feel like you’re getting sick or coming down with something, or exposed to something, take 1-2 TBSP 3-4 times per day. I love to make a salad dressing with it! The salad dressing is a powerhouse in itself! The recipe is below. Enjoy!
