Naturopathy
Please read all the way through
Naturopathy is based on the theory of “being one with nature.” Naturopathy is a distinct system of health and healing that emphasizes prevention and the self-healing process through the use of natural therapies. Naturopaths blend century-old knowledge and a philosophy that nature is the most effective healer.
I was taught under this knowledge and way of thinking and graduated with my Naturopathic degree in 2004. I, as a believer of Jesus do not believe that “being one with nature” is Biblically correct…at all.
This is worshiping the creation and not our Creator, God. I acknowledge and fully believe in only worshiping our beautiful Savior, Jesus Christ and not His creation. It is so easy to get mixed up in the worldly outlook of healing and the roots and/or beliefs of some of these alternative therapies.
I am thankful however, for what I have learned throughout these many years and the information I have received on how to address the concerns of a body that is unwell.
Also, importantly, I truly believe that only the Lord can heal us and not we ourselves.
We can be good stewards of our bodies while here on earth and I feel called by Him to help others in their own journey health and wellness.
In my practice, I do work with natural therapies to encourage the body to come back to balance and health.
When one or more of our bodily systems are out of balance, disease or illness can occur.
My goal as a practitioner is to identify the underlying root/imbalance or causes of illness. Some of the therapies I use in my practice include homeopathy, herbal preparations, whole food supplementation, balanced and proper diet for each individual, and detoxification. These therapies can be used alone or in conjunction with one another to restore wellness and balance to the body.
