Fresh Linen Spray
This linen spray has a lovely and fresh scent. You can spray it on your linens to refresh them before going to bed or to freshen up the sheets or bed when someone isn’t feeling well. This spray can also be used to freshen up a room. The essential oils used in this linen spray are refreshing, cleansing, and also comforting, calming, and relaxing. The best part it is 100% natural and pure!
*This recipe calls for a hydrosol, which is also known as a "flower water." Hydrosols are produced by distilling fresh leaves, fruits, flowers, and other plant materials. With similar properties to essential oils, these aromatic waters are much less concentrated. Their aromas are often soft and subtle when compared to essential oils. I include a link below the recipe where you can find organic hydrosols.
Linen Spray Recipe
3 ounces of Rose Hydrosol
20 drops 100% Lavender Essential Oil
15 drops 100% Cedarwood or Vetiver Essential Oil
10 drops 100% Lemon or Sweet Orange Essential Oil
Combine all ingredients in a 4-ounce glass spray bottle and shake well. Spray generously on linens or in your room for a lovely fresh aroma!
*Remember to shake well each time before using this spray to disperse the essential oils into the hydrosol. This spray should last 2-3 months if kept in a cool area, can also refrigerate to last a little longer. Check out the links below for supplies.
