Antimicrobial Carpet Freshener Powder

Use this simple but effective carpet powder to freshen and sanitize your carpets when needed. Make sure you use this powder only when your carpets are dry. If they are wet, the baking soda may stick and cause a pasty mess making it difficult to vacuum the carpet powder.

 Leave this powder on your carpet for 12 hours or more and then vacuum for the most effective cleansing and deodorizing abilities. Apply before bed and vacuum in morning. Your home will smell fresh and clean!

Recipe

2 cups baking soda

*Optional: ½ cup dried and powdered Lavender flowers

30 drops Thieves essential oil or Lavender essential oil

Mix together and place in a glass mason jar and use liberally on carpets when needed.
