All Natural Liquid Laundry Detergent Recipe
Here is a recipe for an easy but very effective chemical free liquid laundry detergent. Why is a natural laundry detergent needed? Did you ever think about the clothes we wear every day and the sheets we sleep in every night and what is touching our skin 24 hours a day/7 day a week?
The detergent we use to wash our clothes and bedding is in direct contact with our skin which gets absorbed into our bodies. Just like our body and skin care items, being cautious with our laundry detergent is another very important decision for our health and well-being. I can usually smell someone’s laundry detergent on them when they’re not using a natural product. The chemicals and fragrances from these harsh detergents are getting into our clothing that we wear regularly, which eventually makes its way into our bodies. Make a choice today to switch out your commercial detergents for a chemical free option, like this recipe.
The base of this recipe is made with a product called Sals Suds from Dr. Bronner’s. Sals Suds is made with plant- based surfactants and is free of any fragrances, preservatives, or synthetic dyes. It’s cleaning power and capabilities are endless! This natural detergent works great for odors and tough stains too.
