I am a Naturopathic Practitioner and would like to give you an explanation on the Naturopathic view of healing.

Naturopathy is based on the theory of “being one with nature.” Naturopathy is a distinct system of health and healing that emphasizes prevention and the self-healing process through the use of natural therapies. Naturopaths blend century-old knowledge and a philosophy that nature is the most effective healer.

Natural therapies are used to bring the body back to balance and health. Naturopaths believe and teach that we are all uniquely made physically, mentally, and spiritually. When one or more of these 3 systems are out of balance is when disease or illness can occur. Naturopathy focuses on identifying the underlying causes of illness, while naturopathic therapies are supported by holistic healing modalities, such as: homeopathy, herbal preparations, whole food supplementation, balanced and proper diet for each individual health needs, detoxification, and a harmonic balance between body, mind, and spirit. These therapies or techniques can be used alone or in conjunction with one another to restore healing to the body.

The goal of Naturopathy is to search for the root of the imbalance/illness and to utilize natural healing therapies to restore the body and mind back to its natural healthy and joyful state.
